I am running to restore Congress's Constitutional role as a check and balance against the power of the President. I pledge to get this country out of the war in Iraq and to end the American Empire Policy. I pledge to enact a Federal Publicly Financed "Clean" Campaign option for House and Senate races.
To restore the economy I pledge to end the Free Trade policy and replace it with a Fair Trade policy. I will work to reform the banking industry by ending usuries and putting a cap on interest rates. I will end predatory banking and bring back the 30 year fixed rate mortage. Finally, this country needs a "New" New Deal to restore jobs and the economic health of the USA.

I am President of the Greater Spokane Democratic Women's Club and an elected Precinct Committee Officer of the #4426 in the Spokane Valley. I have called the same house in the Spokane Valley home for 33 years. I graduated Magna Cum Laude in History from Eastern Washington University and continued on for a Masters in History at EWU in 2005.
